Functions
Manage functions
Inspect executions, change preferences, disable or delete a function, and understand revision lifecycle and storage.
Roles
Members see An owner or admin can authorize model calls and activate this function. on actions they can't take.
Recent executions
Recent executions lists the latest calls of every kind: Try, Compare and production calls through the alias. Each row shows its purpose, state, latency, amount spent and amount still held. Inspect execution opens the steps that ran.
Change preferences
Use Adjust preferences on an active function to quote a new run with a different priority or targets. The intent, bindings and output contract stay fixed, compatible evidence is reused, and the current alias keeps serving until you activate another revision.
To change instructions or evaluation on an active function, edit it; Seldon creates a new function so the active endpoint keeps serving unchanged.
Revision lifecycle
- Published alternatives you have not activated expire after 30 days. Activated revisions do not expire.
- Alternatives a later measurement displaces from a run's published set are retired unless you activated them.
- A pinned alias,
seldon/function/FUNCTION_ID@REVISION_ID, keeps serving that activated revision until you disable or delete the function.
Disable a function
Disable function stops serving and cancels any open runs. Calls return 409 function_disabled. To serve again, activate a revision.
Delete a function
Delete function stops every alias immediately. Private content is purged within 24 hours; backups expire separately. Deletion cannot be undone.
Storage
Each workspace has 5 GiB for drafts, evaluation examples, evidence and execution records. The function page shows current usage. Delete unused functions to release content; callable revisions are protected from age-based cleanup.
A workspace can hold up to 50 functions. See Limits.
