Terms of Service
These terms summarize the current public operating posture for Seldon. Customer contracts or order forms may include additional or different terms.

Audit retention
Seldon retains customer API data for audit, billing, reliability, security, debugging, and product operation.
No resale
Seldon does not resell customer prompts, outputs, traces, cached responses, or API traffic.
No generalized training
Seldon does not use customer prompts, outputs, traces, or cached responses to train generalized AI models.
Provider dependency
Requests are routed to configured model providers, and provider availability, policies, prices, and model behavior can change.
Acceptable Use
You are responsible for the content you send through Seldon, the applications you connect, the users and workspaces you authorize, and compliance with laws, provider policies, and customer-specific restrictions that apply to your usage.
Outputs And Routing
Model outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unsafe for a particular use, or inconsistent across providers. Seldon provides routing, cost, activity, trace, cache, and compiler features, but customers remain responsible for evaluating outputs before using them in production or regulated workflows.
Billing And Credits
Usage, token counts, provider costs, Seldon fees, credits, spend limits, and billing events are tracked as operational records. Promotional or starter credits may expire or be limited. A request may fail when a workspace has insufficient balance or crosses an enforced limit.
Data Handling
Seldon may store usage records, trace records, redacted trace payloads, and exact response-cache entries under current product behavior. Privacy-forward request controls may restrict routing, but requests can fail when no provider with verified compliant policy metadata is available.
Limitations
Seldon is provided with the limitations in the applicable customer agreement or public terms. The public site does not claim zero data retention, end-to-end encryption, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, or CCPA certification status unless separately verified in a signed document or updated public notice.
